They Just Don't Understand Us

Some try to comprehend why one would want to be in the music business (or more specifically rap) there are reasons one is to get rid of the negative connotation associated with the word rapper (i.e drugs, degrading women, getting arrested, and violence) which is not to say we're goin Disney with it either (bars are bars and if there's a certain way you have to be spoken to to get the message then by all means we shall) there are messages/stories in almost every song every lyric everything, anyway you look at it there's always someone who's gonna come with that question of why and you may get annoyed and feel like jabbing them but it's something we all go through I can't help but think some people who say chase your dreams would change their whole view after you say you wish to pursue music in fact i know of a few like that and it's like do you hear yourself that to me is the biggest hypocritical statement that can be made by any one person it's nothing one should dwell on but when it happens almost daily it's like well would you like to be me then would you like to live through my daily life some people just don't understand until they themselves have gone through it which most who say such things have passed the stage at which such journey can be taken so I say all of that to say this don't knock what you don't know all about don't categorized everyone associated with something because that's the only thing you see on the surface what about the people not doing these things and what about the people pushing these people to do these things (i.e people who criticize, paparazzi, talk show hosts) all people who've never been through such so what you don't understand don't poke or prod it research it learn more about it. One love.
